  • Note : Since the 1st competition was held in Tokyo (Japan) in 1986, FINA World Aquatics Championships have been held in every even-numbered year until it was merged with FINA World Masters Championships starting from the 16th FINA World Championships in Kazan in 2015.

    Minimum age – Athletes must be older than the minimum age (25 years old) for participation, which is specified in the FINA Masters Championships regulations.
